FDLE Live Scan Fingerprinting is an inkless, digital method of capturing your fingerprint impressions and transmitting them electronically to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
When applying for a Florida license from outside the state, traditional paper cards can take weeks or months to process and carry higher rejection rates. Our certified Live Scan system captures high-resolution digital prints, attaches your agency’s specific ORI Number (and photo when required by AHCA), and securely submits your background check package directly to Florida authorities in real time.
What to Expect During Your FDLE Fingerprint Appointment
- Identity & Document Verification: We will verify your unexpired government-issued photo ID and confirm your Florida ORI Number.
- Digital Biometric Capture: A qualified technician will guide your fingers across our high-resolution optical scanner to capture clean, crisp ridge patterns.
- Photo Capture (If Required): For AHCA Level 2 screening applicants, we will capture your digital photo required for the Florida Clearinghouse.
- Direct Electronic Submission: Your prints are transmitted securely to the FDLE. You will receive a transaction control number (TCN) / receipt for your records to track your submission status with your Florida board.
