What Is Ohio BCI Fingerprinting?
An Ohio BCI background check is a fingerprint-based criminal history check processed by the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation, a division of the Ohio Attorney General's Office.
Ohio applicants normally submit fingerprints electronically through an authorized WebCheck provider. However, Ohio BCI provides a process for applicants located outside Ohio to have fingerprints taken locally on an approved fingerprint card and submit the completed card to BCI.
